A Sad Tribute

I am in the rail station in Praha awaiting my train to Berlin for the next to final leg of my journey. As I was checking my emails I learned that my dear cousin Mary Ann died over the weekend after a long and couragous battle with illness for much of her life. I am so sad to hear this news and right now feel very alone and isolated. Mary Ann was very special to all in our extended family.

I regret that due to my travels I am unable to attend the memorial services but will be there in spirit. I hope that all who may read this blog entry will keep Mary Ann in your heart and perhaps say a little prayer for her. This news changes the tone of my travels and reminds me again of the things that are most important in our lives - friends, family, and those relationships that we hold dear.

So long from Praha as I journey over to Berlin for a few days. It will be nice to go home on Friday to relax and spend time again with those who are close to me.

Hi Uncle Tim -
I hope that you are still managing to enjoy the final destinations and moments of your adventure. I know how you feel about being away - I want nothing more then to be home right now. I feel better knowing that pain will no longer be a constant battle for her anymore. She will be missed dearly. I'm so fortunate to have known her and to be from such an amazing extended family. I was wondering what time your flight lands on Friday?? I'm also coming in on Friday. My flight lands around 1:20 p.m. I'm sure you come in quite a bit earlier. Anyway, have a wonderful day and continue to stay safe. Love you & talk to you soon . . . E-MAIL ME!

Hey Tim,
Just wanted to say hey or something. We are staying busy with ball games and other summer kids activities. We will be gone this weekend for Edward Jones meetings, but look forward to catching up with you when you return. Aunt Belva will be available upon request. (Boy, that sounds kinky for those who don't know what Aunt Belva is!) Take care.

Hi Tim,
I'm so sorry you had to hear about MaryAnne this way, maybe it will make you feel alittle better if I told you I was forunate to spend the last three weeks with her and also be with her when she died, she was in unbearable pain and we all prayed that she would go to the arms of Aunt Reenae, that is all MaryAnn wanted.

Maryann told me how happy she was that you took her to the Irsh Pub and as only Mary could say I love that Timmy. Now it's time for you to come home to all of us that love you so much, be safe.

I love you
